Mitch Schlesinger is a guitar enthusiast and frequent participant in the Guitar Noise forums. Though he took classical guitar lessons in his youth and "played" a borrowed electric guitar in a high school punk rock band in the early 1980s, he didn't begin to study and appreciate the guitar until two decades later, when he bought an electric guitar of his own in 2004. He has since taken up the electric bass, which he plays in his church's contemporary praise band. Mitch is also an avid photographer, and his work has appeared in magazines and in an exhibit at Oxford University. He resides in the Washington DC area with his wife and three children.
