Events Horizon – Wednesday, December 28, 2011

You’ll be happy to know that one of my Christmas gifts was a 2011 calendar, which means that I can retract my “Events Horizon” greeting from last week – you remember! It’s the one where I said “Welcome to the last Guitar Noise’ “Events Horizon” of 2011.” Go back and check it out if you don’t believe me! Anyway, according to the calendar I got on Sunday, there’s a whole week of December 2011 left and, it being Wednesday, that means we’ve one Events Horizon post left in 2011. And that’s this one.

If you’re still with me after all that, then let me go on to say that “Events Horizon” is our weekly blog post where we do our best to catch you up on upcoming shows featuring members and friends of the Guitar Noise community, taking place all over the world. Or at least wherever and whenever people let us know they’re happening!

As you know, we at Guitar Noise believe that the true power, wonder and beauty of music comes when it gets shared with the world. So whenever you’re out playing, we’d really like to do is to help promote your shows, whether it’s in a stadium or at a ten-seat coffee house. Not only is it a great way to help support each other, it’s also a terrific way to meet more musicians!

Every Wednesday, we’ll post here about the gigs we know are coming up in the following ten days or so. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to attend a show should they happen to be in your corner of the world!

So, instead of my telling you that this is “really the last “Events Horizon” of 2011″ let instead wish you a wonderful New Year and hope that you manage to find time to take in some music. That shouldn’t have to be a resolution, but it’s a good one to make!
