Events Horizon – Wednesday, November 23, 2011

Hello to all!

Welcome to the “day before Thanksgiving” edition of Guitar Noise’s “Events Horizon.” Here we do our best to catch you up on upcoming shows featuring members and friends of the Guitar Noise community! As we have readers from all over the world, these shows take place all over the place!

As you know, we at Guitar Noise believe that the true power, wonder and beauty of music comes when it gets shared with the world. So whenever you’re out playing, we’d really like to do is to help promote your shows, whether it’s in a stadium or at a ten-seat coffee house. Not only is it a great way to help support each other, it’s also a terrific way to meet more musicians!

Every Wednesday, we’ll post here about the gigs we know are coming up in the following ten days or so. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to attend a show should they happen to be in your corner of the world!

So, here are some upcoming shows we hope you’ll find of interest!

And, on behalf of both Paul and myself, we wish you a good Thanksgiving holiday. And we hope you make all your upcoming holidays extra special by including live music in your plans.

Todd Mack and his daughter Caroline Mack, both who have released fantastic CDs earlier this year, play at the Gypsy Joynt, which is at 293 Main Street, right in the heart of downtown Great Barrington, Massachusetts. This is one of the coolest local music places in the Berkshires and they’ve got great food as well. Show starts at 8 PM.

Marilyn Miller plays her first gig in New York City! She’ll be at Bardot Heights, 432-A 6th Avenue (between 9th Street and 10th Street) in New York City, New York from 7 until 9.

Please feel free to email about whatever gigs you’ve got coming up. Send your gig dates to [email protected] and try to put “˜gig alert’ in the subject header. As mentioned, we’ll be posting the latest schedule every Wednesday. We’d love to include you in our listing.

Also feel free to add upcoming dates in the “Comments” section of this thread. That way we’ll be able to add your next performance to our future updates.

We wish you the best with your shows as well as a great time at any show you can attend. Maybe you’ll get to meet some of your Guitar Noise friends in person at long last!

Peace
