		<description>Hi Darrin,

I wanted to learn chord melody, but found it hard and nearly all the books are aimed at Jazz guitar. I found a magazine (here in France) with arrangements of rock songs using chords and little melodic runs to link them up. It adds fun and challenge but is a little easier than chord melody. This could be an alternative, or a step towards, chord melody playing.

By the way, can you suggest some &quot;easy&quot; books to get started with chord melody? Or books that don&#039;t require lots of jazz chords?

Thanks for the nice ideas.
