		<description>I (belatedly) agree with shawnguess&#039; comment. I can&#039;t imagine how memorizing a 12 x 12 = 144-cell table would be easier than learning the name of the notes on each of the six strings from fret 1 to fret 12 (6 x 12 = 72).

Moreover, there is a simple logic behind the layout of the fretboard in terms of intervals between adjacent strings. Learn the notes on frets 1 to 12 on the sixth string and you immediately know the notes on the fifth string, etc. This is knowledge, whereas -- with all due respect -- memorizing Mr. Koltow`s table brings about no insight.</description>
