Re: For those who "STILL" has their first guitar?

I had a Yamaha SE200 back in 1983 or so. It was my first guitar. I traded it long ago, but I wish I still had it. I recently saw one show up on Craigslist for $180 but it's in Vermont, about 2 hours from my house. I'm thinking about maybe taking a ride but with gas prices, it would end up costing me...

Green Bullet for Harmonica

I have a Sure 520 DX Green Bullet mic that I use for harp. It came with a extra long cable, maybe 25 feet, already attached. It's a pain in the neck to coil that thing up all the time. What I'd like to do is get rid of the cord and attach a female 1/4 connector to the mic and then use an instrument ...

Re: Help hooking up preamp/poweramp/cab

Look through the manuals for each to find out which type of input/output connections each has. For example: http://www.engl-amps.com/e530.html The ENGL 530 preamp has 1/4 inch unbalanced output jacks. It says in the manual "THIS SIGNAL CAN BE ROUTED TO A POWERAMP". Which is, of course the "PV 900". ...

My son has a Squire Mini-Strat. Very nice. I also have an Art and Lutherie Ami for traveling and camping trips.

Re: camp fire acoustic songs.

I love playing in front of the campfire with family and friends and some beers. Here is our list of songs from last year's camp trip: · Brown Eyed Girl · Friend of the Devil · Sweet Caroline · Knocking on Heaven's Door · Sweet Home Alabama · I'm a Believer · The Wild Rover · Blister in the S...

Re: Teenagers Shouldn't Drive

I'm glad you didn't get more seriously hurt in the crash. A couple years ago I bought my first real brand new auto. It was a 2004 Nissan pickup with 5 miles on it. Well, before I managed to put 30 miles on it, I was rear-ended by a 16 year old girl who was talking on her cell phone at the time. :x I...

Re: Tube Amp External Speaker

Well, I sent an email to Epiphone and got a response: To: Customer Service1 Subject: Epiphone Valve Standard Tube Amp I have an Epiphone Valve STANDARD, 15 watt tube combo. It has two speaker outputs in the back. One of them is being used already by the built in speaker and it is labeled "Speaker - ...

I started when I was 13 and played until I was about 20 without really learning anything. I picked it up again a few years ago when I was 33.

Re: Song List for a Classic rock type band

What you need to do is find out the names of successful cover bands that play in your area. A lot of times a band will post a current set list on its website. You could compile a list from a bunch of different bands and pick ones that you like. Or at least get an idea of what audiences like.
