Obituary: Jon English

http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/music/singer-songwriter-jon-english-dead-at-66-20160310-gnf2ol.html Very sad as Jon was going to Sweden this week or the next to do some recording - apparently he was very popular there and in Norway. He had an amazing career starting out as the guitarist in a hi...

Re: SSG Year 13 Week 11

I've been trying to get my son to join, he's got hundreds of songs on his computer, we tried to go through your book together (David H's), it's a bit difficult for him, he's going to a writing course this year so that might give him more confidence to join in here :)

Re: I did a bad thing...

So sorry to hear you've been through so much, I've always enjoyed reading your posts over the years. You sound like you are keeping it together as best you can. It's great you have a partner to stand by you. Don't worry so much about not being able to play the guitar as much as you used to at the mo...

Re: Which song are you learning right now?

I've just started learning the Ventura Highway lesson by Mr Hodge and now I'm going to look up a bunch of songs to learn to play to my two grandchildren, I've been having a ball singing Mary Had a Little Lamb, This Old Man and some of the Sound of Music songs to them, as well as songs like the Banan...
