NO he didnt suck. And Im not saying thats all i want to do is random notes. Clarification- He had me to do it in that manner, to get the feel of using the scale. to learn how to solo without learning theory? I just cant for the life of me understand it. All the 6ths and 5ths and roots and etc.. Thanks for the help guys. Think I will try that open E tuning and see what I can come up with.
Is there a pentatonic shape I should use? I really only know 2. Or are they differant with open tunings?
