Re: Truss Rod or Saddle?
When ever you are faced with a issue like this, the first thing is to step back, and before you adjust ANYTHING, see where you are right now.. This is really why I think all players should learn at lest the basics of guitar/bass setup. Just adjusting things, and tweeking things is not the way to go....

Re: Guitar bridge lifted up
Well if you have some wood working skills, and if you have no one else to work on it, I guess your stuck... Don't use epoxy or any high tech glues.... Really the best for that would be Tightbond.. Its really good stuff, holds well, and in the future if you need to do more repairs, and remove it, it ...

Re: 00 Size Guitar like Ed Sheerans
The "OO" is the sizing that Martin used... they had O, OO, and OOO sized guitars. I could be wrong but im assuming that if the company listed it at a "OO" that they are following Martins lead, and sizing them the same, or at least close. Martin does, or did have a lower cost line of guitars in that ...

Re: want to buy a new guitar need help
Sadly no one can answer that for you. There really is a lot of things different between those two, and neither is wrong. As for "going real" you really need to think of who your trying to impress. Ive played some "real" guitars that were vary hum drum, and some lesser brands that were real nice. It ...

Re: Sitting or standing?
Ya, as was said... there is a difference. I guess a lot depends on what you plan to do in the future. If your planning on being in a band, or playing out live, your probably going to want to get used to standing. If your a basement player and just do it for fun, sitting is fine. It really depends on...

 Writing them all down would prevent my being able to deny having too many. LOL how true!!! Ill start with the ones I play the most, on down... Regal Duolian resonator. Shes my "go to" guitar for most things. old cheap Epiphone acoustic PR150. doesn't sound great, but the thing is as tough as ...

Re: What kind of electric guitar should I get?
Are you looking for style, or brand ideas? What kind of a budget are you working with? In my opinion its not that guitar that makes the song sound how it does, its the player, so I would recommend that you get out to a few music stores, and pick up, and play a few different ones. Get one that makes ...

How long is a piece of string??
Everyone is different, and we all work things out in different ways. I bet if you broached that subject to someone that's written 100's of songs professionally, and gave them those two options that would answer with Yes... bolth

Re: Budget blues acoustic?
I really like the Alvarez Parlor guitars. Under 400 bucks most places, and sound sweet!! i guess I'm looking for something quite bass-ey, muddy, and not too bright. That would really depend on your playing style. For me playing with my fingers the normal everyday Dred size guitar is quite muddy and ...

Re: new project guitar!! Old parlor sized..
something I've learned when dealing with removing frets from an old rosewood fretboard, if you heat up each fret with the tip of your soldering iron, it tends to activate the oils of the wood and frets come out smoother with less chips and fragments! hope your project turned out great those old par...

My first time on stage!!!
OK, Ill preface this with the fact that I was shaking I was so nervous!!! Ive played off and on for years, but have never played for people before. Re: Practicing unplugged electric guitar.
I play my electric un plugged quite a bit. I normally only get time to play at night after the kids go to bed, so I need to keep it down. For getting the fingering down its fine. Once you start working on getting the sound right, you need to plug in though.
