Heard this band?

http://www.purevolume.com/3 This will probably be the best thing that you hear in your life. (aside from the "peacebomb" songs.. which really suck and are full of vulgarity) I actually stumbled across this band accidentally while trying to look up a local band.. but needless to say my search was cu...

YOur best bet would be to find out what the scale lenght of the neck is, and measure it approximately.. but make sure there is room to fiddle with the intonaion. as for the trem poles, center it, but MAKE SURE ITS LINEAR ( same measurements from the nut to the saddle from both sides of the neck) or ...

The compensated saddle idea is good... but a semitone is also ALOT to be out of intonation... is the neck warped? tried adjusting the truss rod? Maybe the glue joint on the neck where it meets the body is pulling apart. What kind of guitar is it?

im not much of a fan of marshall either. i personally love my crate gt 212 combo. im pretty sure its solid state with analog reverb, but it sounds like high end valve. its clean channel is pretty nice with some reverb, but not the greatest ever if you want a very "accoustic" sounding tone. i really ...

it sounds more like truss rod problems than action problems.
adjusting the russ rod is very tricky, so unless you arent too afraid to break the guitar, id bring it to a profesional, or at least someone who knows well what they are doing.

I didn't mean "output" as a pronoun. What I mean is; an LP and an EXP obviously both have humbuckers in them, but that doesn't mean they have the same kind. I would imagine that the EXP would have hotter pups on it than an LP in other words.. the pickups would have a hugher output rate. pups= slang...

Re: most under rated guitarist & most over rated guitari

alright ill start. i think the most under rated guitarists are Al Di Meola and Prince. i think the most over rated guitarists are Yngwie Malmsteen and Angus Young (his solos are cool but you know.... totally over rated). i think the most over rated band is Nirvana.... YUCK! under rated... de...

after a while publishing companies are going to ask for royalties on all the excripts made here lol. Ive been looking for good theory books around here but music stores tend to lean towards the less serious musician around here :( "100 top rock licks" and stuff like that. even in the piano stores......

Gb to C# is not a fourth.. its a fifth. In what application would you call it a fourth? it leads to nothing. its a non functional theoretical device that negates the facts. If i am playing a Gb and a C# on my guitar, i am playing a Gb power chord. Root-5. now if i play a G and a C i am playing fourt...

I'm in the process of restoring a crappy broken strat copy to something useful. gonna set the neck up nice, block the trem, and upgrade the pups. nothing as facinati...

never heard of a baritone guitar.. you mean a bass? it doesnt matter what yo tune to, if the intonation/scale length is off, it needs to be fixed. you cant have a guitar with offset frets. it doesnt matter if its baritone or soprano.. it holds true that the twelfth fret is in the middle, and al the ...
