In that list you've got Teles, Strats, Les Pauls, SGs, Rics and a whole bunch of other pickup configurations. You're not going to get all those sounds exactly from one set. My advice is to get some pickups you like the basic sound of, learn the songs, and then go from there, expanding your guitar co...

No need to stay in the same key, but Bruce gets down to the bottom of his range on the vocals on this one and I know I would have a bunch of trouble hitting those notes in D (or even E). Just some info I thought I'd throw out there.

This arrangement is great. Catchy and haunting at the same time. Is the capo on 3 on the "Born in the USA" track? I always thought this song was in E.

Thanks Taso. It's actually MUCH simpler than it sounds. Put a capo on the third fret and repeat this. --------------- ---------3----- ------2----2-- ---0----------- --------------- --------------- They are steady eighth notes. Doesn't sound right though does it? The secret is to use the delay pedal ...

Thanks for checking it out. Besides the synth part, the rest was pretty much screwing around. We didn't have a vocalist there so we just had someone step up to the mic and have some fun, and the drummer didn't really know the song, but I really wanted to hear how the intro sounded recorded and get a...

Baba O'Riley (Teenage Wasteland)

Just looking for some opinions on the synth part of this classic. This is certainly not a polished version (ex. vocals, timing issues),but I want to get the synth part really close on the guitar. By the way, it's an Epiphone SG through a Boss DD-6 delay. http://www.purevolume.com/livefromludwigsbase...

Check out Peterson Strobe tuners (Google it). I'm not sure if the make a rack mount version but they are very accurate (0.1 cent) and around your price range.

The songs that are up there are just instrumentals. We do have some different songs with lyrics, but we didn't want to post them because they're still in the development staged. We haven't had any luck finding a good vocalist who's also reliable and likes our kind of music, but we're still looking a...

Bruce's famed guitar is a factory second Fender Esquire (circa 1953) that was routed for 4 (yes four) pickups and stereo output when he bought it used. He then had it wired up like a regular Tele but with an uncovered neck pickup, and that's how he used it.

The Hot Rod won't start breaking up until about 4 or 4 1/2 on the clean channel. This gives you a good amount of headroom.

Then you should seriously consider a Hot Rod Deluxe, an attenuator and a Tubescreamer. Set the volume on the clean channel to just before it starts to break up (you need the attenuator to keep this at a reasonable level) and when you need overdrive set the gain on the Tubescreamer fairly low and the...

Here are some that I like to do in Open G (usually w/ a slide)

Good Riddance- Green Day
Last Kiss- Pearl Jam
This Hard Land- Bruce Springsteen
Stolen Car- Springteen

The first two use the Em chord too, the last two are just G, C, D.
