I thought my wrist would drop off when I started learning barre chords but like anything, with practice it will become really easy and you'll find you will even end up 'abbreviating' the barre chords as you get better.

Guys who work teaching from shops are often (not always) but often wannabe rock stars with an attitude of an actual rock star. My advice would be to seek out an individual teacher and not from a backyard guitar school that's attached to a music shop.

You could do a search for 99% of any song from the 60's and the basic chord progressions are good exercise when beginning to learn bar chords.

Hey mate, I know how difficult it can be with big hands and obviously even more so with broken fingers. I'm not sure if you play electric or acoustic but I play an australian made acoustic called a Maton. They have slightly wider necks and therefore more space between the strings. I find normal neck...

The boss loop stations are great. I use one all the time. If you're in 4/4 time it's very easy to get the timing right. Layeing is easy also. It's great to play harmony lines on the fly too. The one I have is the small pedal and it has up to 16 minutes of recordable time. As a soloist I wouldn't gig...
