Re: How did you learn guitar?

I learned the guitar from my friend and with help of you tube. Learning the guitar by oneself is a hassle though. I decided to write an article about it so that I can help others in some way another. Check it out if interested. https://guitarisbliss.wordpress.com/2017/03/27/192/?frame-nonce=aeaec836d8

A major chord can played with open 1st string, index finger on 5th fret 2nd string, middle finger on 6th fret on 3rd string, ring finger on 7th fret on the 4th string and open 5th string. There are a lot of options and n...

Re: Finger Picking or Slide

Re: I can't play guitar

If you face difficulty in playing A chord than you can try the alternate finger positioning. Your ring finger goes on to the 4th string, index finger on the 3rd string and middle finger on the second string. This way you won't have to squeeze your fingers and A chords also sounds more clear. And if you think that you have reached a plateau then you should start learning more complex techniques for the type of guitar that you p...

Re: Not sure what to practice

I think it's impossible for a guitarist to run out of things to learn. One can learn many different types of alternate chord voicings. Then one can learn fingerstyle arrangements of their favourite songs. I listen to many fingerstyle arrangements and learn the most melodic and sweet ones. Then their...
