Rules

What's the rules on recording other artist's songs ??? Do I have to get prior permission, or can I just go ahead and record them as long as I give credit where it's due. If the album sells copies by means of distribution at gigs, would I owe the original recording artist money, and how do I pay it.....

I like it, this is positive channeling of emotion, if I could change one line it would be line 2 from the following verse I ain't got the time for one more sad I'm sorry I ain't of the mind for one more run around I don't want to listen to your fairy story Waiting for the facts to come crashing down...

I've got 2 Crafters, and both are really good.

Saw others playing Crafters at Jam Nights I attend, so went to a shop and had a go at them.

There usually very well priced, and are making a very good reputation for themselves has a good quality budget level guitar manufacturer.

Wasted Years.

The one string riff at the start was one of the first things I learned, love that.

I don't think Maiden are under rated though, in fact I think there over rated.
I admire their longevity though.

How uncanny is it that the post above me, mentions my hometown :)

Anyway my first gig was Def Leppard in 1993 at the start of their Adrenalize tour.

Most recent gig was Dave Gilmour last month.

Next gig, tomorrow night, Australian Pink Floyd in Liverpool

Top 3 in this order

1, Meddle - The start in my opinion of Classic Floyd, Echoes and Fearless are fantastic tracks.
2, Wish You Were Here - Shine On You Crazy Diamond (All Of It) and the title track esp..
3, Dark Side Of The Moon - Time and Us & Them, classic album from start to finish.

Depends on mood I suppose. But if I can only have one, then my vote goes too, America - Simon And Garfunkel That's one song where I can actually envisage every line Counting the cars on the New Jersey turnpike, She said the man in the gaberdene suit was a spy.... etc etc, it's just a fantastic song,...

And Justice For All, was for me Metallica's best album. The over playing of the Black album made me sick of them, and Enter Sandman is an absolute joke. They have had flashes of there former glory since Justice, but nothing has completely solid for me. IMHO though, Megadeth's Countdown To Extinction...

Can my band record covers ????

Hi, Need some solid advice here. My band will be recording an album by the end of the year, and we would like to inc 2 covers on it, that our live audience really enjoy us doing. The 2 songs namely being, Metallica's - Nothing Else Matters The Police - Every Breath You Take I'm not naive enough to j...

I think it's perfect

Listening to a lot of Blackmore's Night and Celtic stuff at the moment, so this resounds very well with me.

Hi Pete. I like this song, flows really well, and has some nice lines. The only thing I would change is the last two lines of this verse Throw the kids Out in the yard You can't come in Until it's dark Make the most Of the summer sun It came from nowhere Soon it'll be gone Instead of It came from no...
