Re: Hello again

Hello Nuno! I had a twinkling of an idea on the 1964 topic but nothing on paper.

Hello again

Hello GN, again It's been a while. Been talking with Vic Lewis and he encouraged my return. Used to write quite a few songs in Sunday Songwriters and contributed to boards here and there. GN was really responsible for me learning guitar back around 2001ish. Still playing. Looking forward to meeting ...

Re: iRig or Peavey Ampkit?

I own iRig and Amplitube for the iPad, plus several of the add on. The track recorder is a little akward to get used too but it might be my inexperience. The fx in Amplitube are pretty good. The toughest part about recording is I haven't found an editing component and also it's tough to hit the reco...

Re: Footswitch Cable

Hey man.. fantastic.. That was it. I compared the cables I have been trying to use to the one that came with it. The one that came with it is a TRS.. I never noticed.

Thanks

Footswitch Cable

I am trying to find a longer cable for the footswitch for my Traynor amp. The original cable is about 10' long and has male 1/4 inch ends on each side. I need a cable about twice that long but I have tried using instrument cables with male ends and it doesnt seem to switch the amp from clean to dist...

Personal Stage Monitor

Does anyone use an in ear monitor on stage? What equipment would I need to purchase to do something like this. The situation is that we, our church band, are in our new location. Because of the acoustics, they are wanting us to keep the stage monitors as low as possible and also I feel like I cant h...

Re: Knob Control

Totally agree Ande. Not only in the pedals but my guitar has active pickups and if my battery is going dead, weird things happen. I first used an iSpot AC adapter, but now that I have the pedalboard they are all connected to its power source. Good catch Ande.

Re: Knob Control

An update.. All the posts appreciated, it turns out that the poor condition was because of two things. After setting the volume knobs a little better, it started sounding nice again. When I got to the stage and started playing, most loudly, I notice it was chopping up the sound.. kind of like a blow...

Re: Knob Control

I am tempted to do just that Ande.. I just might. I tweak around a little, mostly with volume, and got the sound pretty close yesterday. The fact is that I DO use almost all of these. The only ones that I really cant tell that they help me in any way is the volume pedal (which I dont like) and the c...

Re: Knob Control

Thanks guys The wah is a Morley Bad Horsie II. The volume is a Morley Optical Volume. i dont know much about it. I dont really like it. I was told that I should put it in the loop if I wanted to use it to control the over all volume. To put it up front if I was going to use it to control the amount ...

Knob Control

This might not be the best place for this, but here is where I am putting it. I started with an AMP and a guitar. I chose the stomp box method of effects and added one at a time. First an EQ, then Chorus, etc. Now I have a plethora of pedals. All of them purchased with the intention of either adding...

Re: Y9W9 Mark of the Beast 666

Disclaimer - At work so I cant listen to the soundclick.. I absolutely loved the first verse. It was witty and interesting. The chorus probably works but thought it could be fleshed out a little more (Although I really know little about this style) The second and third verses didnt grab me as much a...

How did the gig go? How are your fingers? And more importantly.. Are you ever going to neglect your sweet guitar ever again? LOL
