Re: In dire need of an acoustic guitar...

Sounds like a great guitar reading the reviews...How's the action high up the fretboard?

In dire need of an acoustic guitar...

I'm wondering anyone has any suggestions...I'd like to get one that'll last me, not one of the cheap $50 guitars, but something under $225 or something.

Thanks.

Re: Favorite Picks?

My Fender mediums wear out after about a month. I used to use Fender thins...then switched to mediums, then to heavy, then back to mediums. I think I've felt my comfort zone here...I can pick very softly when I want...and pick it harder too. Plus I love the option of picking with the thick end to ge...

Re: What can you do with the Whammy Bar?

As far as I know, Jimi was out of tune a lot.... was an 'in tune' freak and frequently tuned his guitar WHILE playing. (He also had impecable timing) Yea Jimi was out of tune, but not just because of whammy bar use, but because of the fact he was playing a right handed guitar and the fact he just a...

The Fulltone OCD

Is probably the best pedal I've ever plugged in. Ever. I recommend everyone buy this pedal. It's incredible. Even when you have the gain full blast, you can still get clean tones using the volume knob on your guitar. I can seriously achieve perfect Hendrix tones, perfect AC/DC tones...I can go from ...

Re: How do you....

I get that feeling at night, compared to in the morning... Ahh and this reminds me of one time, literally right before I fell asleep I had a thought...or a vision or a dream of sound. It was probably the most beautiful music I've ever heard. I can't remember what it sounded like, but I'll never forg...

Re: Sickest Possible Guitar Riff Ever.

I listened to some of Hendrix's stuff, 3rd Stone From The Sun, Machine Gun and 1983... (A Merman I Should Turn to Be) and listened to some stuff before he came about like BB King, I had to read some Hendrix biographies to see what was prominent before that. I have to admit it's different enough fro...

Re: Sickest Possible Guitar Riff Ever.

You claimed "And why the hell do we have so many darn companies making effects nowadays? Because of Jimi." Which is not correct, or at least I cannot find anything crediting Hendrix to that. You say he made those effects more popular. That is not innovation. It is not MY definition of innovation ei...
