They physically can NOT strum a guitar or play any instrument for that matter. Then I guess you can't show passion, or love, or any emotion. What you feel c...

Congratulations, you learned your scales...you learned modes and all of the above. Now write some music. Hen...

I'm looking for a good, cheap mic.

What's a good USB microphone I can get? I don't want to spend $100 on a mic and another $150 or so on a 4-track recorder...anyway I can buy about a cheaper mic that can plug into my computer for recording? My video camera's microphone isn't bad but it doesn't capture that beautiful tone from my Fend...

Re: Purple Haze

Watch those hands...listen for something similar to what you play. Listen to the rhythm. Hendrix is a great rhythm player and people forget that, so everything is tough. Good luck with it. definite +1 on that. a lot of his solos on albums are pretty simple, but its the rhythm and how he changes it ...

Re: Purple Haze

Re: Blues music recommendations wanted

Hendrix was deffo a big big fan of chicago blues in general, and Guy in particular. Not sure of any specific credits but e.g. it gets mentioned in the interview with Guy in the latest Guitarist magazine (by the interviewer), and I've read it a bunch of times elsewhere, too. Yes. Guy was one of Hend...
