Try the Guild GAD series and some Taylors as well. Don't limit yourself to what you think you can afford.

disclaimer: I have a National resonator. I know of a couple of people with the original 1930s models and they won't even go near the National Resophonics. They both own metal ones. From my limited experience, I would avoid the Fender and continue looking. You'll probably also want to ask Rico...

The little 'whitish' one in the top photo looks like a Marshall bluesbreaker

I can't read the MIM either, but i think greybeard's right, as usual. Squiers were made in Mexico for a few years. A quicjk search will bring up plenty of info :P

I'll have to keep my eye on that one. I guess I should watch a few first. :? I'm so confused about which to buy. At least with regular guitars you can play a bunch of them first.

Or buy a Godin, it will weigh less than the LP, but sound heavier than the '51.

Well, many people would define good clean in terms of Fender or Vox and then put a pedal in front. Some people do like the Marshall clean. I fyou aren't sure, you might be better off playing through a bunch of amps before you spend that much money.

You could try an eq pedal with what you have now. You want to play guitar through a guitar amp, correct? Personally I wouldn't go cheaper than the Boss/Roland microcube @ $125 battery powered. But I can't even stand computer speakers. Vox AD15 and Roland Cube 15 watt @ $100. Then there is the tiny D...

http://vancouver.craigslist.org/msg/158262478.html has a picture

harmony-central.com had one review for a 'Delta' brand that appears to be the same thing.

I do like the looks of those Dr Zs Joe, one of these days I'll get me another tube amp, but my little Blues jr is doing fine.

I don't know the brand, but the pictures I'm seeing on the net make it look like a cheap piece of solid state junk. Peavey's Delta Blues amp on the other hand look nice indeed.
If you're looking for a cheapish deent quality amp, I'd suggest Behringer, Vox or Roland.

Both will ship overseas, you just need to find the right button (which took me a long time to find). :D But you may be able to find a kit for such a common pedal.

Was there a specific mod you were looking at? Some are fairly simple and readily available, some aren't. Some of the mods include chip replacements that aren't easily obtainable. Reputable customizers like Keeley and Analog Man will make a difference and personally I would deal directly with them fo...
