Need KRISTAL Advice

A friend has started to use Kristal and has recorded some trks but when trying to mix them can't seem to get the tracks to sync correctly. I know there are some users here and wondered if anyone has any tricks up their sleeve that we seem to be missing out on. Thanx for any help.

Re: Essential Reading before Gigging

Laz both links are dead, even using the updated info on your next post. I get a site not found on the other link as well.

Re: Muffled Audacity recordings

Thanx Dagwood I'll refine my settings and give that a try. Have to be away for a couple of days but will try to record when I get home and let you know.

Muffled Audacity recordings

So I have been trying to do some basic recordings of my playing. I plug my guitar into the mixer Behringer UB1202 and then it feeds into the computer. The recordings are very quiet and seem muffled. Should I be miking the amp and then into the mixer or could it be a sound card issue? Or is there bet...

Lars I sent you a PM, if you give me your email address I will send you the backing track download. Didn't think the file would go on a PM as an attachment?

Loosen or Tighten Truss Rod

So not just sure what to do. I have a little get together to play with another guy on Tuesday. The music is fairly varied from old standards to Chuck Berry so wanted to take an axe with some adaptability so settled on my Godin exit 22. Problem is I have a small amount of fret buzz that has developed...

Re: Looking for a basic blues pedal

I bought the Behringer T0800 after Wes Inman recommended it and really like it. Very inexpensive too!

Re: Newbie question re: EVJ Head

On the other hand if you do have an amp of some description you can use the head in conjunction with the speaker in that amp. I use the speaker in my fender solid state amp which is a 12" 4 ohm celestion speaker and it sounds good. You have the choice of using speakers with 4, 8 or 16 ohm requiremen...

Re: Static Pop in Amp?

When you say "it is getting to be winter" you better believe it, this AM it was -30 degrees Celcius on the thermometer! You may be right and I may be zapping the amp because we have had a long cold snap here in Manitoba. But you know this is really the first time it has become noticable. Other years...

Re: Static Pop in Amp?

Hey Ricochet, thought I might hear from you on this. The Fender 900 deluxe is solid state and about 4 years old, the Evj is a year and a half or so. It really seems to be a static build up as I can hear/feel an arc between my finger and the amp sometimes when I go to shut it off and even when settin...

Static Pop in Amp?

Really don't know what is causing this but what happens when I play these days is that a charge seems to build up and every once in awhile a LARGE pop emanates from my amp. I can assure you that I am not that electifying of a guitar player!! The amp sits in a carpetted room where it has been for the...
