Y12W48 Five Tequila Shots Ago

The Sunday Songwriters club is a stretching exercise for your mind. Arpeggios for the brain cells, so to speak. After all, writing is like playing - to get better, you have to practice.

Y12W48 Five Tequila Shots Ago

http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=12931566

Five tequila shots ago
Five tequila shots ago
I had a thirst for some drinking down in Mexico
Five tequila shots ago

Five tequila shots ago
Five tequila shots ago
Her laugh was like a key scrape on my GTO
Five tequila shots ago

Chorus
Oh- o-oh o-oh
Five tequila shots ago
Oh- o-oh o-oh
Five tequila shots ago

Five tequila shots ago
Five tequila shots ago
I could count the hairs growing from her mole
Five tequila shots ago

Five tequila shots ago
Five tequila shots ago
I swore she said her name was Mario
Five tequila shots ago

chorus

Oh- o-oh o-oh
Five tequila shots to go

Hi James,

Cute . . . . in a good way. Made me smile. One teeny tiny idea . . . . change your last
5 tequila shots ago
to
5 tequila shots to go . . . . .

I see that you're exploring the minimalist approach to lyrics, which is not a bad thing. It made me laugh.

Just when I was thinking that the music needed some variety, you came in with the lead guitar. Think about doing something like that earlier in the song.
