HammerHead Rhythm Station help

Post by Dan T. » April 25th, 2009, 3:55 pm

Does anyone know how to change the user banks from the default one to a new one? I down loaded the "acoustic" user bank, but can't get it to load into the program.

From memory, you download the acoustic bank as a zip file which really only contains a custmgui.dll file. To enable the acoustic drum kit, you need to replace the existing with new (acoustic) custmgui.dll file. It's probably in the hammerhead directory. Don't delete the old one though, just rename it - it seems hammerhead only allows you to have one particular drumkit enabled at a time.

Here's some instructions I found:

-------------------------------------------------------
Custmgui.dll - Acoustic Edition
-------------------------------------------------------

Step 1: Rename your old custmgui.dll file custmgui.old
or move it to another folder (you _don't_ want
to delete or overwrite it).

Step 2: Move custmgui.aco to your HammerHead folder if
you haven't already.

Step 3: Rename custmgui.aco custmgui.dll.

Step 4: Start HammerHead and enjoy an entirely new set
of drum sounds.

Hope that helps. b.
