The Lyric game

Post by Pup » May 29th, 2004, 9:21 am

the rules are simple, the game is fun.

the post above you should contain four words....any four words that the poster chooses...random or meaningful, whatever...

okay say the first four to start us out are:::

how
now
brown
cow

the words dont have to rhyme, thats just an example. now in the next post, the person would post a 4 line stanza with those words . 1 in each line...

okay say that post may be

how do i spontaneously erect
a signet in this environment now
amidst a world of putrid browns
the flies engulf the nearest cow carcass

(And then the next four words)

why
crimson
purity
fades

and the cycle continues, so on and so forth. post away.... i suppose i will make the first four words

why
crimson
purity
fades

I don't know why my eyes
are filled with crimson lines
they were white purity
but now that vision fades

Nothing is totally sacred,
Everything's worth less,
Than it used to be,
And everything's a mess

Do I get Brownie points for using "everything" twice......

Nothing you say will matter to me,
anything less wouldn't be right
If I could be better than you could to me,
Everything in this world is worth the fight.

I don't know how you can rationalise,
The way you play with people's lives,
How far d'you think you can take it with me,
Before we have a date with destiny........

If you look at the time , he singed it right when I did, pretty close. I must have been writing it while he posted because I aswered the one he did. honest mistake.

Scared painting on the wall,
the pencil will draw its mighty sword,
The speaker will mumble one last word,
to scared to tell who was at fault.

I'm sick of the bullsh#t, sick of the lies
Struggling to live, my poor heart she sighs,
So few can make sanguinity seem so wrong
So few can make the night seem so long

OK, you asked for it:

You crying in the grave yard
where ghost and gobblins play
they're dancing with the devil

Crazy sounds inside my head,
Glue keeps me from running away,
The voice inside me is dead,
Ill be strong for as long as I may.
