(You sure didn't make this an easy one!!!! Took me days!!!)

Steel buildings swaying in the breeze
Minds wander to places far away
Creole rhythms, hips move with ease
The night has come, gone is the day

Well now i feel the marching of the rain
As my breath rises from me just like steam
Now all my crepe paper castles have gone
Floated the blue sky just like a stream

My open mind wandering
Almost lost inside the beauty
Of the depths of the open flame

This moment holds us as friends for eternity
An ever lasting trust from deep inside our hearts
Holding onto to the fairytales we always believe
A heavenly peace together wherever we are

When I looked deeply into your eyes, all I felt was cold,
It seemed as if your heart had suddenly turned to ice.
I think about that sandy beach where we fell in love.
A love that glistened like the sun can't have been a lie.

At sunrise she sits alone in her chair
Reading the love notes she keeps with the lock of his hair
The scent of the jasmine drifts through the air
But what is the truth does anyone care

Yesterday we were just as one,
But Today I'm just one my own
I can't foresee Tomorrow, but

They actually set me loose again, can you imagine that?
All the power that they took from me, well, now I've got it back.
Found a pair of jumper cables, and heard that engine roaring
Now it's time to shock the world, yes, shock the world, I'm back!

(That was EXTREMELY difficult, greybeard! I LIKE that....... gimme some more! Please!)

I passed a turtle on my way
To the Tavern on The Green
A grasshopper riding on his back
On some dirt road in my dream

And I push my way through the Ferns
The smell of Beer and dew starts to fade

The tree it looses leaves
The passionate autum winds blow forth
Remembering lessons of summer eves

When the morning sun is breaking through
And last night's melody still ringing clear
I first shake the clouds from my head
And decide which way to go from here.
