i think they make some pretty interesting music. i lost the link to this website that told me what tuning the guy uses but it was very different. i feel like there was an f,b,e,g and two others in this tuning. (not in that order mind you) if anyone knows what they use lemme know, i love messing around in weird tunings.
also whats the weirdest tuning you have come across and what can it be used for? (music is the blatantly obvious answer, but what style or practical purpose ex. easier arpeggios or what)
Y'all come on in and sit a spell. All things Slide and alternate tuning. Celtic, country...whatever. Get your fill of DADGAD, open G and whatever tickles your fancy. Strictly on topic please.

Some of the steel guitar tunings are pretty weird. They don't always have the relative pitches in order. Many players have come up with their own individual tunings, always to make something they like to do easier.
