Specifically the Cheshire/Merseyside areas - I think I need to motivate myself and find some local jams/guitar buddies. Ive slipped way on back to raw beginner status again through lack of effort, the trials of separation and moving etc etc, I need to do something about it. I have a new girlfriend who is very supportive of this and wants me to get going again so she can listen and come along to jams etc, and has a few songs in mind she would like me to learn for her :) (Foo fighters stuff mainly - big fan).

SO - looking for open mics/jams or strugglers like me (or better yet, good players who are incredibly patient and can turn a deaf ear) in the Warrington/Newton/St Helens ish areas. Found and attended a couple of acoustic ones as a spectator, need to find some more. I hope Vic can throw a few ideas in (The Griffin in Earlestown is a possibility vic  ) or anybody else on here from the area. I'm back to guitar at the min, had to sell my bass to fund a laptop BUT thinking of going down the 4 string route again maybe.

So, neighbours----over to you!

Good to see you back Ray!

You still got my number? I'll PM you just in case you've lost it - give me a ring about tea-time tomorrow, let's see if we can't get together and jam!

:D :D :D

Can we jam Vic? My place first? :P Or I could pack my gear in my kayak and start paddling. Only take a few months if I survive.
