TwistedLefty, thanks for the sad news. Gurley was one of our heavier unheralded guitar players of the '60s -- influential in his time but forgotten today.

Plus we have Vic Chesnutt in a coma. Merry freakin' Christmas, eh?

That's sad news. He was one of my favorite guitar players. I remember the first time I saw him on TV in the late 60's with Big Brother. I knew then I was going to grow long hair and play electric guitar and irritate the he fire out of my folks :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
