I'm getting old - I just became a great-grandad! Well, sort of - I've been with the Mrs - Marilyn - for almost 14 years now, so even though we're not officially married I guess that makes us man-and-wife in a common-law sort of way, right? And her grandson and his girlfriend have just had a baby tonight...which makes me, at the very least, a sort-of-almost-step-grandad. I think.
Very strange to be a great-grandad (sort of!) when none of my girls have had babies yet - and they're 31, 29 and 25!
Oh well - congrats to Lee and Sarah, and welcome to liittle Mia, looking forward to meeting the new arrival later this week! Sheeesh - a great-grandad (sort of!) and I'm only 54......
