I'm getting old - I just became a great-grandad!

Post by Vic Lewis VL » January 31st, 2012, 4:26 pm

I'm getting old - I just became a great-grandad! Well, sort of - I've been with the Mrs - Marilyn - for almost 14 years now, so even though we're not officially married I guess that makes us man-and-wife in a common-law sort of way, right? And her grandson and his girlfriend have just had a baby tonight...which makes me, at the very least, a sort-of-almost-step-grandad. I think.

Very strange to be a great-grandad (sort of!) when none of my girls have had babies yet - and they're 31, 29 and 25!

Oh well - congrats to Lee and Sarah, and welcome to liittle Mia, looking forward to meeting the new arrival later this week! Sheeesh - a great-grandad (sort of!) and I'm only 54......

:D :D :D :D :D

Hey Vic my daughters are almost the same age as yours and thankfully none have kids yet. I'm not ready for the grandpa thing yet.

At this family's current breeding rate, that could happen by the time I'm Paul McCartney's current age.....
