Polar Music Prize 2012

Post by Niklas » May 11th, 2012, 5:04 am

...goes to Paul Simon and Yo-Yo Ma.

The Polar Prize hasn't been around very long, but it is prestigious to get it. I think Paul Simon really deserves it. I'm not as fond of his solo career as his time with Art, as I miss Art's classical influences, but he's a great muscian none the less.

Yo-Yo Ma is an outstanding cellist. Congrats to both!

I was reading the other artists that got the prize. Great list of musicians...
