It was 50 years ago today (part two....)

October 5th, 1962....the Beatles' first single, "Love Me Do," was released. And coincidentally, on the very same day, the first Bond film... Dr. No....was released in the cinemas. What a landmark day, eh?

The most successful and influential band of all time and the most succesful and longest-running film franchise of all time... time to dig out "Live and Let Die" and give it a blast, I think!

:D :D :D

I like the video description: "[The videoclip] shows how really music was made in those days. without difficult samples, rap, r&n etc. etc."

Lately I'm listening a lot of The Beatles stuff and it keeps sound fresh. Perhaps simplicity is the key.
