February = Record Producing Month

Post by martin-6 » January 24th, 2007, 5:44 am

Hi guys

I just heard about this project: http://www.rpmchallenge.com

The aim is to encourage musicians to get off their asses and record an entire album (10 tracks or 35 minutes minimum) in just 28 days. It's not about producing perfection, just reaching the 1st of March with a real accomplishment that so many of us never get round to achieving. Hundreds of musicians from different genres are signing up to take part, and I think I will join them, or at least attempt to. This could be the kind of motivation my music/songwriting has been lacking.

Admins, feel free to move this post to the part of the board where you think it would be most appropriate.

sounds like a great idea, im going to give it a go. like most people im constantly coming up with progressions and riffs but never actually developing full songs, perfect opportunity to actually finish some
This is my signature. Fear it.
