 I'll almost guarantee that your hands are larger than mine. Size, shape and number of the fingers has absolutely nothing to do with being able to play well.

One of the local musicians near me has NO hands, and he rocks out. Here's a video:

I hear this talk a lot about how important it is to have long fingers but I really don't think its important. Its more about how well you can stretch your hands - they're more flexible than you think and you can get a great stretch the longer you play. If it was really a problem then many guitar player would be buying 3/4 size guitars! That would solve the issue no problem.

Tony Iommi literally doesn't have fingertips on his playing hand. You'll find a way

keep calm and practise hard-working . You will play it well later. I am sure about that. Do you agree with me that you have talent in playing guitar. dON'T GIVE UP. Keep your passion and dream to make it come true. One day in the future, you can make the video to share with all friends in the world.

OP,
It's been over a year since you first posted this:
Did you keep playing 30'/day??
How's those chords coming now? :)
keep practicing!

My advice,
Stop saying "I can't" remove the negative from your head space. Start focusing on what you can do and what you want to do better.

If you face difficulty in playing A chord than you can try the alternate finger positioning. Your ring finger goes on to the 4th string, index finger on the 3rd string and middle finger on the second string. This way you won't have to squeeze your fingers and A chords also sounds more clear. Maybe the chances are you feel like you are not progressing not because of your finger size or body anatomy but it's a motivational one. I advocate the foundation of the following; 1. Good Guitar, 2. Good Connection and 3. Good Music.
1. Make sure you get a guitar that suits you. One that you like and would love to hold it as much as you can. If you can't physically fret a chord, you may want to consider a guitar with a wider neck etc.
2. Establish a good connection with it. You have to know that the guitar is like a part of your body you employ to bring out a song in you. Be comfortable to build a connection with your guitar.
3. Work on what is Good Music. It's just a tune that you like and enjoy. Try to get that one song out regardless of the challenges of fingering certain chord. Learn the chord progression and keep getting at it at what point of the song, the chord changes. Once the good music flows, you'll get the details of how to finger right.
Just in a nut shell what I believe will help you play good guitar.

Late to the party, but unless you're fingers are smaller than a very small 12 year old's they aren't too short:

Try alternate fingerings for chords then you can practise playing them instead. A major chord can played with open 1st string, index finger on 5th fret 2nd string, middle finger on 6th fret on 3rd string, ring finger on 7th fret on the 4th string and open 5th string. There are a lot of options and no one can be limited.
