Acoustic Effect Pedals???

Post by Isom » June 30th, 2015, 7:18 am

Newbie Question: Can we/Do we ever use foot pedals with an electric acoustic guitar? If so which ones (effects) are normally used, and why? Thanks :? :? :?

You can use all kind of effect pedals with all kind of guitars. Sometimes you will get weird results but, yes, you can use them. I saw (and heard) a distortion pedal used with a nylon string guitar.

There are specific pedalboards for acoustic guitars, players usually tend to look for delays, reverbs and modulation effects.

Just experiment!
