Make sure there's enough room for all of us to join you!

Should be fun, though! Can't wait.

But it's you five I'm hiding FROM! Anyone else can just think I suck and that's okay, but it's the other folks who've put their time and effort into this song that I'm afraid of letting down. :?

Hey as long as you give it your best shot ( I'm sure you did) You won't let any one down :D The whole idea for this forum is to get new players playing with "old" players ( I don't mean we are old  )

Well, I did give it my best shot, for sure. Just wanted to be truthful about my skill level, so you can't say you weren't warned.

I guess I'd peg myself as an old (age-wise) but new (experience-wise) player. "Old but new" sounds better than "new but old", doesn't it? :P

I think I fall into the "old" definition no matter how you slice it. But I plan on growing old forever!

Margaret, your feelings are not only natural, you'll find them shared by everyone. Silly as this may sound, I'm also worried that my efforts will let the rest of the "band" down.

But this is all supposed to be about both fun and leaning. Did you have fun? Did you learn something that you can use later? Can you not wait for the chance to do it again? A "yes" answer for any of the above means that it was a good thing.

And if I haven't mentioned this before, I simply consider it an honor to be "playing" with everyone here. It's pretty cool that I can jam with people from Wisconsin, Illinois, and South Carolina without leaving the Berkshires.

But don't think that doesn't mean you're off the hook if you're ever out this way. You have to stop in and play a while.

Peace

To the first Q: Yes, I had fun! The second: Yes, I learned a lot. As for the third: Can I have a six-week headstart??

You could alway pick a backing track to host and practice
for six weeks before posting it.
