Please help...

Post by Benamoz » September 14th, 2018, 5:17 pm

In Albert King’s « Matchbox Blues »... He plays in Bmaj and Stevie Ray Vaughan plays in Ab maj.... Can someone explain this to me as it does not seem to make sense as these are NOT harmonic or related keys? To further confuse the piece, Albert leans over to Stevie Ray says ....key of G.... Also Albert’s tuning is BEBEG#C#... I am lost on how this works.... It’s available to see on Utube by searching Albert King Matchbox Blues....Help... Thank you.
