News And Announcements

Greetings!

Welcome to Guitar Noise News!

‘Tis a few days after Christmas but I could be writing “…’tis the night before…” Somewhere under the myriad piles of things that are here around me waiting to be packed, repacked, put aside, laughed and/or wondered at, are also presents for my family waiting to be wrapped and fussed over in general. I also think that my supper is around here somewhere…

New Year’s Day I’m hoping to arrive in the new home and to at least get the computer unpacked so I can dash off another hurried newsletter to Paul. Should be a piece of cake.

To say it’s been an eventful year would be an understatement. We’ve done a lot of new and exciting things here at Guitar Noise. There’s even more that is, as we speak, very close to done and will be coming your way in a short while.

I’d like to take time this week to thank Paul for creating this site and giving me the opportunity to participate in the teaching and sharing of ideas. Sometimes I wonder if he could even imagine what this place would grow into.

To all of our staff writers – A-J, Dan, Laura, Nick, Lee – and to all of our contributing writers and contributing readers, I’d like to give you my appreciation and thanks as well. May we never lack interest on your part. Likewise to those artists who have been generous of their time in responding to our interviews.

To our forum moderators, may the upcoming year always find you in good humor and patience. Heaven knows you deserve it!

And, especially, to all our readers, wherever in the world you may be, my best wishes for a truly wonderful 2004. My thanks for your support and suggestions (and patience and advice with dealing with all the things going on in my life!) and I hope you’ll find all the new things coming to Guitar Noise as exciting as I do.

I hope you all have a grand week. Stay safe and we’ll see you in the New Year.

And, as always,

Peace

David
