Guitar Tab and Lyrics Not Available
We’re sorry but the guitar tabs from several lessons on Guitar Noise (including the one you were probably trying to read) have been removed because the songwriter or publisher has not given us the necessary permission to use the tab, lyrics or sheet music in a guitar lesson. As most of you know, we have been (and continue to be) hard at work to arrange new agreements with publishers that will let us create more lessons that use examples from popular songs. And while we’ve had some success in this area, as you can see by the return of some of the Guitar Noise Easy Songs for Beginners, we are still in the middle of a long, ongoing process as far as some of these song lessons are concerned.
You can follow the whole saga by reading: Original Takedown (February 21, 2010), Where are the Guitar Tabs? (March 21, 2010) and The Return of Easy Songs for Beginners (November 3, 2011).
Please check the Easy Songs for Beginners page to see what song lessons are currently available.
Just as we don’t like it when other websites copy our articles without our knowledge or permission, some music publishers and songwriters don’t want their songs used in our lessons. At Guitar Noise we have always agreed with and tried to follow both the law and the spirit of the law when it comes to copyright issues. (See the post That Looks Familiar! for more on that.)
We are always trying to add new lessons and promise to do our best to continue to bring you the best lessons we can write and arrange. And, as always, we truly appreciate all the support and patience that you, our readers, have given and continue to give to us.
