Hoffman – Bad Seeds

Hailing from Iceland, Hoffman offers a blend of grunge, neo-punk, classic rock and a few other things thrown in for good measure.

The result is certainly interesting for a first album. I must admit that the first time I listened to it, I didn’t particularly like it. Not that I couldn’t recognize the talent (that was obvious), but it just wasn’t my cup of tea.

However, I have to admit that the second listen went a lot better. Thing is, the more you listen to it, the better it gets.

And considering it’s a first album, well it’s overall a fairly good result. I’d say watch out for these guys as they might turn in to the next best thing.
