Project 814 – Declassified

A good, honest, effort at music for the sake of music. Project 814 doesn’t endeavor to take you into boy band land or screaming metal land. Instead, it concentrates on delivering good music played in a stunning manner.

A collection of great musicians who work hard at delivering great music which is heavily influenced by what they like rather than what record label executives (read accountants) like.

There’s a freshness and an honesty in this music (in particular in Catamaran Tack which features great bass work) which are certainly welcome after going through a pile of major label CDs.

I think this band have what it takes to go places. Looking forward to more from them.
