Singing Lessons

While singing and playing guitar can be a lot harder than walking and chewing gum it might not be as hard as you think. Follow these lessons and you may come to realize that anyone can sing.
Singing In A New Year By David Hodge Today we are going to take on those always scary playing and singing at the same time jitters. Singing requires, in many respects, the same sort of attitude we bring to the guitar. The more realistic we are in our approach, the better our chances of being happy with our performances. Not everyone has a great voice, but just about everyone has the ability to develop a passable one.

Playing the Guitar While Singing - (Or Singing while Playing the Guitar) By A-J Charron A lot of bands have a lead vocalist who also plays an instrument. You listen to a live album from them and you hear the instrument performed to perfection and wonder how they do it. You've tried to sing while playing your guitar and have discovered that it's not an easy thing to do.

Singing 101 By Nick Torres Think you can't sing? Think again. Can you hum or sing the pitches as you tune your guitar? Can you sing along with your car radio? You can? Great! Now we know you can sing. It's good to get that out of the way.

If I Only Had (Another) Brain By Nick Torres The first time out, Nick showed us how to treat our voice as we would an instrument, say a guitar. This time he makes us play two instruments at once! Well, not literally. But he offers some great tips on the eternal question, How do I play the guitar and sing at the same time?

Scoring Points By Nick Torres Guitar Noise's own vocal musician, Nick Torres, introduces an incredibly simply concept - knowing how you want to sing a song. He then guides you, in his inimitable fashion, through the process of preparation. What more could you ask?
