I cannot speak highly enough of David Hodge’s way of teaching, which is very simple and effective. The book leads you through chord progressions, time signatures, rests, string bends, double stops, triplets, scales and modes to name but a few.
In my opinion, this book is a very nice balance between readability, music theory, and guitar technique.
