Hi all!
I have a little question:
What is the best strings brand for a 5 stringed bass guitar (durability and quality) for jazz or funk style?
Thanks for replies!

D'Addario
Rotosound
Dean Markley Blue Steels
Check out juststrings.com for better descriptions. There's really no 'best' brand. They're all pretty good so it's a matter of personal taste. I've just used D'Addarios for a long time, but the others are just as, or better than. I recently put the Markley's on my 5'ver and P-Bass Special because I wanted a real bell like ring, but I have flatwound RotoSounds on my Turser Beatle.
Thank you!

Interesting fact time....
Tune your fith string a bit sharp, and play a C, it has interesting effects on the part of the brain that controls vommiting. (33 hz)

I'm invited as a guest to a concert given by friends... I'll try playing on C mode ;D

I think that C is 12 cents sharp.

Dean Markley strings sounds similar as DR's but they are very weak!
The "A" string has broken after one week only!

Have you used Dean Markley much? That may have just been a fluke.
