Ended up buying it on a whim-An SX SBJ-75 LTD from Rondo Music in 3-tone sunburst. It's your typical Jazz copy. Just got it today, ran it through my buddy's amp to make sure the pickups worked and the pots were decent. I have to say I looked at Rondo because of recommendations on this site and I have NEVER been more impressed with an instrument. My buddy thought I payed over 500 for it. I didn't tell him that it only ran me 150 including a case (I love scratch and dent).
That said...anyone wanna recommend a decent bass amp (around 100 watts...)

Nice! Those SXs are big boom for the buck!Most definantly! I recently purchased an SX as a Christmas present for a friend, I have been playing it for a couple of weeks until I wrap it, & I agree, these instruments are well worth the money!
It just has a "quality" feel to it, very nice indeed! :)
