It sounds real nice. It has lines on it. He wanted one without (show off) but couldn't find one in his price range/scale length he wanted. He is really happy with this one.

I completely understand about the lines. The best version I saw was thin lines laser cut into the fretboard. Can only be seen by the player.

Congrats! Have him try "Walk on the Wild Side"...

Beautiful! How does it sound unplugged? And what will he plug it into?

It sounds good unplugged. He tried it through our PA but prefers using a 60 watt Electar Spartan amp he has with a 12" speaker. The amp has a pretty clean sound so it works well with it. I want him to try his little Hartke practice amp to see how that sounds as well. (His electric rig is a GK full stack with a 15" cab and a 2 X 10" cab with horn)

Check it out for yourself.

This video is with the Electar Spartan.
