This bass is supposed to be about 30 years old and has absolutely no brand or markings on it.Any help will be most appreciated.

description says "Sears special", and I'd take that literally -- probably either Silvertone (Sears brand) or a Teisco Del Rey. many Silvertone instruments where made by Teisco.

Looks like an old harmony from the 70s. I had one that looked very similar
