I guess this could be a question for the guitar section as well, but it pertains to my bass.

I've been getting string buzzing on the E and A strings, particularly high up on the neck. Is there anything I can do about that?

I pity the fool, but also suggest ways he might better himself.

Sounds like you either need to raise the saddle height for those strings, or adjust neck relief, or both. Or use higher-tension strings ... but then you may need to adjust neck relief anyway.

Since it is higher on the neck, the possiblilities are more complex. I'd take it to a pro for an evaluation.

Thanks for the advice guys. I guess I'll just take it in. I was hopin it would be an easy fix, or maybe an issue with my playing.

By the way, I forgot to mention that its a righty that I had converted to a lefty; could that be whats doint it?

Do you hear it through your amp or just when playing unplugged?

If it's just when playing unplugged it might be natural.
