I bought my first guitar earlier this year... Acoustic Yamaha FG700s (I hope that means something) Anyhow, I've been looking to get an acoustic-electric and my brother was telling me that I could buy some part to make my acoustic an acoustic-electric. He's pretty new at the guitar to, I was hoping some of you could help me out with this.

Thanks

Welcome to GN, Hurley.
There are a whole raft of pickups and microphones that will get your acoustic amplified. If I can find it, there was a discussion on this very subject about a week ago.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?
