finally got my first electric...not so great but it gets the job done..
The reason im posting this topic is because ive gone to a guitar teacher a few times before and he got me pretty far but at this time i cant see him anymore. So he gave me a few scales and he taught a song or two. But just as we were getting into bar chords i had to seeing him. So i was wondering how yall all learned to play them??? Because at this point my only reference is BYCU and it goes straight from basic chords in the open position to a 12 bar blues with bar chords..a little confusing for a newbie such as msyelf.
