Hey, I was just wondering which one is better. Well, its obvious that the Digitech is better than the V-AMP (price difference), but I just wanna ask which ones better to people who actually have the product. THe only difference I see is that the DIgitech has a controlled wah and "yah" whatever that is. V-AMP only has an auto-wah and no "yah."

I just checked out several EFX units and settled on the Digitech RPx 400 because of the sound quality, the rugged construction and its capability to record directly into a PC Via USB cable 8)

The 300 I tried is very similar to the 400 in sound, size and construction - just the output and input capabilities are different. See the Digitech spec pages at:

http://www.digitech.com/products/rp300a.htm

and

http://www.digitech.com/products/rpx400.htm

The wah and yah are effects that produce the wah and yah distortion sound to your guitar strum as you press the pedal.

Best suggestion is try them out at a music or guitar center and decide.

Good luck,

BS :)
