Hi all, well it's been a long time since I was here last! Lots of new names and lots of people that I remember from before.
Personal circumstances and an Open University course meant that I have not even touched my guitar for over a year, how bad is that?

Any way the course is done and dusted (and passed!) and I was sitting watching the t.v the other day and my guitar (which sits by the side of it) just started calling me, and so once more I am about to embark on that wonderful and frustrating journey of learning to play.

To all of you here, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year, and thanks for letting me come back

Rik

Merry Christmas Rik!
Just thought I'd say congrads on the course & yeah keep that guitar out where it just stares at you! That's how I get any practice, I need one plugged in here and ready to go after a short tube warm up. Don't be getting frustrated either! Just have fun, that's what keeps you playing. Even if you think you should give it up, Don't !!! that's how I keep going anyway. :D

Welcome back Rik. You can't beat a bit of studying and now it's time to study guitar.

VERY bad indeed! Still, you made it back and that's the main thing - welcome back, Rik!

Don't sweat the "lost" year...because if you've learned something then it's a "gain"...so long as it makes you play a-chordingly!
